Virginia R. Dean
Virginia is an accomplished human resources executive with a focus on providing strategic direction to companies on people matters, managing rapid growth and creating and maintaining high performance cultures. Over the last 20-plus years, Virginia Dean has worked with C-suite executives and entrepreneurs in life sciences, professional services, high technology, and non-profit organizations such as BeiGene, TESARO, Ariad Pharmaceuticals, The Bridgespan Group, and Macromedia (now Adobe) leading HR departments, building companies and developing leaders.
Virginia has created engagement-centered cultures in rapidly growing organizations, launching programs to support the evolution and performance of leaders and their employees. Her work has focused on creating sustainable cultures and leadership through high growth and rapid change.
In addition to leading HR departments, Virginia has trained and practiced as an executive coach. She has coached dozens of leaders inside the organizations in which she has worked. During her tenures, she focused on helping leaders focus through times of high growth and constant change.
Virginia’s work has encompassed:

In addition to an MBA from Simmons College’s School of Management, Virginia is a Certified Professional Coach, earning that designations through New Ventures West Integral Coaching Program (ICF certified). She has completed Georgetown University’s Team Coaching program, has worked extensively with the Internal Family Systems model, is certified in the Leadership Versatility Index (LVI) assessment tool, the Hogan Assessment System and is in the process of becoming certified as a coach by the Strozzi Institute on Somatic Coaching.
